Who we are

BEEFY is operated by Get Beefy, LLC. This policy applies to the BEEFY iOS and Apple Watch apps, the getbeefy.app website, and related support services.

Information we collect

Account and access information

When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an account identifier and, when Apple makes them available, your name and email address or Apple private relay address. Because BEEFY is an invite-only beta, we also keep your access-request and approval status. If you join the website waitlist, we collect the email address you submit.

Training and profile information

We process information you provide or create in BEEFY, including goals, training experience, schedules, exercises, equipment, workout logs, running activity, recovery check-ins, limitations, plan changes, coaching requests, and feedback. Equipment photos and related exercise media are processed only when you choose those features.

Apple Health information

If you grant permission, BEEFY may read workouts, sleep and recovery signals, body weight, and related fitness information from Apple Health. With your permission, BEEFY may write completed strength workouts, active energy, intensity, and effort. You control each Health permission through Apple Health and iOS Settings.

Technical and AI usage information

We keep limited operational information needed to run and protect the service, such as synchronization results, error records, feature usage, AI request counts, token totals, estimated cost, and request status. We do not put API keys or account credentials in these records.

Website analytics information

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the getbeefy.app website. Google Analytics may process information such as pages visited, interactions, referral source, browser and device type, approximate location, and online identifiers. We do not send Apple Health or private training information to Google Analytics.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and enforce private-beta approval.
• Create, adapt, synchronize, and restore your training plan.
• Provide requested AI coaching and program features.
• Connect workouts and recovery context with Apple Health.
• Respond to support requests and maintain service reliability.
• Understand and improve use of the BEEFY website.
• Prevent abuse, enforce spending limits, and protect BEEFY.

BEEFY does not sell personal information. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing profiles, or data brokerage, and we do not share it with advertising platforms.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers only to operate BEEFY. Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and server-function infrastructure. OpenAI processes the training context needed to answer an AI request or generate a requested plan or image. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, HealthKit, TestFlight, and App Store services. Google provides website analytics. These providers process information under their own agreements and privacy commitments.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service from harm, or as part of a business transaction where the recipient must continue to honor this policy.

Retention and deletion

We retain your cloud account and training information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your BEEFY account inside the app. Account deletion removes the account and associated cloud training data; limited security, accounting, or backup records may remain only as long as reasonably necessary.

Deleting BEEFY does not delete information already stored in Apple Health. You can review or remove that information in Apple Health. You may also revoke BEEFY's Health access at any time in iOS Settings.

Your choices

• Choose which Apple Health categories BEEFY may read or write.
• Decline optional photo, Health, or AI-powered features.
• Sign out, request support, or delete your account in the app.
• Ask us to help with access, correction, or deletion.

Security, children, and changes

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, but no network or storage system is completely secure. BEEFY is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy as BEEFY changes. We will revise the effective date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
